Why Hire a Lawyer from the Law Offices of Timothy Grabe?
My name is Timothy Grabe, and I am the founder of the Law Offices of Timothy Grabe. I am a native of Oregon and I earned my bachelor’s degree in 1977 from the University of Oregon. In my 20s, I worked a series of blue collar jobs. These experiences allow me to connect with my clients, especially those who are injured in theconstruction field or in other work-related accidents. Upon graduating law school, I spent several years representing large insurance companies, but I realized that my heart was not in it and I would prefer to shift my focus on helping injured people and their families.
I went into private practice in 1988. When choosing a lawyer to handle yourpersonal injury claim, I believe it’s important to work with someone who isn’t known for being an “ambulance chaser,” but someone who is devoted to their clients’ best interests and taking the time necessary to produce the desired result for their clients. Over the past twenty years, I have served on various state bar committees, including the Uniform Civil Jury Instruction Committee, the Procedure and Practice Committee, and the Client Security Fund.
I have published chapters and articles on the subject of trial practice in books such as theOregon Civil Litigation Manual and journals such as theOregon Trial Lawyer. I have been a member of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association since 1995, where I have served on the Publications Committee. I have dedicated my career to the field of law and this ongoing commitment to stay abreast of current trends and legislative changes contributes significantly to my knowledge and understanding of the law.
Treating You with the Respect You Deserve
Having represented insurance companies, and served as an arbitrator, I am able to view cases from all sides. Not after making a quick buck, I only accept those cases which I believe have merit. I know that fighting for just compensation against an insurance company is no easy task and can be a process. When I accept a case, I build relationships with my clients and I get to know them and their families. Most importantly, I treat them with the respect that they deserve.
Serving Portland since 1988, I understand how injury accidents can place a great deal of strain on the victims and their families. To make things as stress-free as possible for my clients, I offer free initial consultations, and if a client is unable to meet with me during office hours, I am more than happy to meet them in the evenings, weekends, or even outside the office. Perhaps one of the most valuable aspect of working with my firm is that I take cases on acontingency fee basis. This means you don’t pay anything out of pocket and there is NO fee unless I obtain a settlement or verdict on your behalf.
